Blanket is the solo project of writer and director Kanchi Wichmann. Kanchi recently attended the musicians residency in Banff, Canada and wrote a shed load of new post-punk/riot grrl songs comprised of just her bass guitar, drum loops and vocals. All Clean Now is her latest release, out now on PEAK SHAME.
Kanchi’s former bands include the Berlin bands Hairshirt (with Cal Alvarado) and Gemischte Gefühle (With Elly Clarke, Nadja Kurz and Oona Friedrichs) and London bands Now (with Justin Paton, Angela Last, Richard Thomas etc) and Platform 5 (With Zali Krishna, Richard Fontenoy etc).
